    • occupation listed as surveyor, 21 years, 2 months at time of enlistment on Sept 15, 1914. He was described as 5' 6 1/2" weighing 150 lbs, with a fair complexion, blue eyes and brown hair.

    Cause of Death:
    • during an attack by his Regiment on Dec 1, 1917, he was severely wounded by enemy macine gun fire and as a result died the following day at No. 5 Casualty Clearing Station where he had been conveyed
