    George Lowe was born in Pakenham, Ontario. The family moved to Manitoba i n 1878 when George was 8 (sic) years old.

    Roland, Manitoba News, 1894: "Mr. George Lowe, on 35-4-4 and S.J. Lowe on 34-4-4 planted a row of trees each on his own farm but across the road fro m each other making a road known as lovers lane for close to eighty years."

    Roland, Manitoba News, 1899: "George Lowe sold his farm SW 35-4-4 to Joe Sparling for a good figure." Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Lowe, George and Tom mov ed to Roland, where the two boys went into crushing feed grain, a good busine ss for many years.
