Roberts, son of George Roberts of Cobden went west a few yea rs go and was employed in a bank at Winnipeg. From there he went furth er west and had the misfortune to be caught in a snow slide and the repo rt went out that he had been killed. But he had not and in the early da ys of the war he enlisted and went to the front. There he was gassed a nd his sister Mrs. (Rev.) May saw his name in the casualty lists and wro te to the address given and to her surprise and joy she received a rep ly to her letter from her brother.
