  Alice Jane Lee's obituary was published in the Renfrew Mercury (Cobden New s) on Mar 23, 1939: "At the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jas. Edwards, Gould street, on Frida y, March 17, there passed away in her 54th year, Mrs. Alice Sheedy, wi fe of the late John Sheedy, formerly Miss Alice Lee. Left to mourn are t wo daughters, Mrs. Graham of Detroit and Mrs. Jas. Edwards of Cobden. Fune ral services were held from her late residence, that of her daughter, Mr s. Jas.
