Notes - The death occurred in Renfrew Hospital January 30th of Mr. Edward B. Bulm er of Kerr Line following an illness of six weeks. Born in Ross Township, the youngest son of the late Edward Bulmer and h is wife Jane Elliott, he was in his seventy-sixth year. He spent his enti re life here and always took an active part in community and church lif e. At the time of his passing he was Clerk of the Session of Trinity Unit ed Church. Fifty-five years ago he married Margaret Black who survives. There are a lso three sons and six daughters, Maurice and Beryl (Mrs. Wm. Hembre y) of Forester's Falls, Hazel (Mrs. Wm. Davis) of Thorold, Harold of Vanco uver, Edith (Mrs. Hugh Percival) of Cobden, Willard of Hamilton, Eileen (M rs. Hugh Megin?), Vivienne (Mrs. James Richardson) both of Ottawa and Lo is (Mrs. J. F. Foy) of Admaston, also eighteen grandchildren and three gre at grandchildren. He was the last surviving member of the family, three b rothers and three sisters having predeceased him. The funeral was held on Wednesday, February 1st, from his late home to Tr inity United Church, with the pastor Rev. H. J. Veals conducting the servi ce, assisted by Dr. H. Amaron of Admaston United Church and Rev. L. McCorr ison of the Standard Church. A nephew, Stanley Black, sang "Some Day I' ll Understand". Honorary pallbearers were members of the Session of Trini ty United Church and three representative elders of St. Andrew's Chur ch in Beachburg. Active pallbearers were six nephews, George and Clayt on Valliant, Owen and Mervin Black, William Moore and Keith Bulmer. Flow er bearers were two grandsons Basil Bulmer and Ted Hembrey. Internment w as in Ross Cemetery. The numerous floral offerings and messages of sympathy received by the be reaved family testified to the high esteem in which Mr. Bulmer was held.
