To: Fay BennettDear Fay: Do you have a copy of Caroline Heald's book "Irish Palatines in Ontario?
If you refer to Timberline of June 1994 you will see an article on the Young family and the two tombstones, where it lists Andrew Young's parents as John Young and Mary Crip(p)s.
In the petition from Andrew Young to the Secretary of State for the Colonial Department, London, England he writes on behalf of himself and other families, and one of the other families is "Samuel Lowes, wife and eleven in family" PERHAPS he is a brother of Mary, Mrs. Andrew Young.
Caroline Heald says on page 103 that "Samuel Lowes' wife is a Comba"
also on page 82 that he settled on lot 5 con 7 Pakenham Tp, known as Cedar Hill. Samuel is a brother of Andrew and David.
