  LONG, Doris In hospital, on Friday, July 6, 2012. A warm heart and a kind and generous spirit, Doris Catherine Long will be remembered and missed by the many people she touched through her 89 years, particularly for her fabulous meals, great wit and wonderful hospitality. Predeceased by her husband William Robert (Bob) Long, and her brother Stanley and sister Bernice and her grandson Stephen. Survived by her twin brother Dalton Mordy (Margaret). Mother to Murray Long (Peggy) and Janice Lewis (Brent), grandmother to Michael Long (Nicole) and Katie Tolman (Tyler), step-grandmother to Brook (Malcolm), and Jocelyn (Ed), great- grandmother to Charlie, Nikkie, Maiya Rose, and Leeya, and step-great-grandmother to Heron and Sitka. A heartfelt thank you to Rose Long, for her companionship and care. Friends may call at the Westboro Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 403 Richmond Road (at Roosevelt) on Tuesday, July 10th, 2012 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, July 11th at 1:00 p.m., with a reception to follow.
